These are the 29 LVP colors we quote from. Tell us which ones you want to see up close and those are the boards we bring, so you pick your color standing in the room it is going in.

How the visit goes
How the free in-home flooring consultation works
You do not need to know your square footage, your product or your color before you call. Working that out is what the visit is for.
You tell us the rooms
A form or a phone call. Rough square footage if you know it, a guess if you don't, and what the floor is doing now. We book a time that suits you, including evenings.
The samples come to you
We bring the boards to your table, measure the rooms, and check what is under the existing floor. You hold the plank next to your own cabinets, in your own light, with your own furniture in the room.
You pick, then we install
Material and color, decided by you, in your own time. Then the same outfit that showed you the samples lays the floor. You are not handed to a stranger after you sign.

Common questions about an in-home flooring visit
Somebody comes to the house with samples, and two hours later they are still at the table waiting for a signature. That is a real thing that happens, and it is why the national chains have the reputation they have. Here is what is different about this one.
Nobody here works on commission
The person at your table is not paid more for selling you a more expensive floor. There is no incentive to talk you up a grade, and no reason to stay after you have what you need.
There is no “today only” price
The number we give you is the number next week. Take the quote, sleep on it, get two more. A price that expires when the salesman leaves was never a real price.
An owner, not a salesman
BDF’s owner brings the samples, and BDF’s owner runs the crew that lays the floor. He is on the job. You are not passed from the person who sold it to a subcontractor who has never spoken to you.

step by step
Same crew handles your vinyl plank install the whole way through. Plenty of vinyl floor contractors hand the prep or the trim to someone else halfway through. Ours doesn't, and there's no phase where nobody can tell you what's happening.
Free walkthrough
We measure, check the subfloor for moisture and flatness, and bring sample boards so you can see colorways in your own light against your own furniture.
Demo and subfloor prep
Old flooring out, slab ground and leveled, moisture addressed before a single plank goes down. This step matters more here than in most markets because Houston homes are slab-on-grade, not basement construction.
Underlayment and install
The right underlayment for sound and moisture, then the floor itself, click-lock or glue-down depending on the product and what the slab is doing.
Transitions and trim
Transition strips, baseboards and moldings at every doorway and room edge. This is the finish work that decides whether it looks installed or looks fitted.
Final walkthrough
We walk it with you, cover how to care for it, and leave the space clean. Furniture goes back where it came from.

- Stairs are quoted on their own, because they are their own trade.
- Leveling and taking the old floor out are their own priced lines on the written scope, agreed before anything starts.
What moves that number isn’t mainly how many square feet you have. It’s the slab. A flat, sound slab takes plank straight away; one that needs grinding and leveling is real work before the floor even starts, and it’s the line a cheap bid quietly leaves out. A big open room with a good slab can come in under a small one that doesn’t.
You get the whole thing written down after the walkthrough — the product, the prep, the transitions and the trim, each with a price next to it. That’s the number you pay. Nothing gets added on the day.

Not the colorway. Everyone gets that part right. What separates a luxury vinyl plank floor that still looks good from one that gaps, cups or lifts is the stuff nobody puts in the brochure.

What’s under it
A slab that isn’t flat telegraphs through the plank and opens seams. Prep is the least visible line on a quote and the first one a cheap bid removes.

The wear layer
Thickness sells; wear layer is what actually survives a dog and a dining chair. We spec it against your traffic instead of the price point.

Who does the finish work
Transitions, thresholds and trim are where a job goes from fitted to obviously DIY. One crew doing all of it is the whole reason it lines up.
