1. Introduction

BDF Floors ("we," "us," or "our") is a flooring installation company based in Katy, Texas, and operates this website (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the Site collects, how we use it, and who helps us handle it. It covers information collected through the Site only, not information you give us in person or over the phone.

2. Information You Give Us

When you send an estimate request, we collect:

• Your first and last name, phone number and email address
• Anything else you choose to tell us about the project, such as your town, the size of the job, a message, or a floor color you picked from our sample chart

Sending a request is voluntary.

3. Information Collected Automatically

• Visit information: pages viewed, device and browser type, IP address, and the website that sent you here.
• How you found us: if you arrive from an ad or a tracked link, we save the campaign details in the link (for example UTM tags and Google, Microsoft or Facebook ad click IDs) in your browser for up to 30 days, and include them with any estimate request you send. This tells us which ads actually bring in customers.
• Calls, texts and emails from the Site: when you tap our phone number, text link or email address, we record that the tap happened, the page it happened on, your device type and the campaign details above. We do not record the call, text or email itself.
• Site behavior: Microsoft Clarity records how visitors scroll, click and move around our pages (including session replays), so we can see what is confusing or broken.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To call, text or email you about your estimate and project
• To schedule and carry out the work
• To send you a confirmation email when you submit a request
• To keep records of the requests we receive
• To measure which pages, ads and campaigns are working, and improve the Site
• To show our ads to people who have visited the Site (see Section 6)

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Calls and Text Messages

By submitting an estimate request, you agree that BDF Floors may contact you by phone call, text message and email about your project. These are messages about your request, not marketing lists. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time by replying STOP or by telling us, and we will not text you again. We do not share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with anyone else for their own marketing.

6. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

The Site uses cookies and similar browser storage, set by us and by these services:

• Google Tag Manager, which loads the tools below
• Google Analytics, to count visits and see how the Site is used
• Google Ads, to measure which ads lead to estimate requests and to show our ads to people who have visited the Site (remarketing)
• Microsoft Clarity, for click maps and session replays

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, turn off personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. The Site still works with cookies turned off.

7. Who Helps Us Handle Your Information

We use these service providers. Each only receives what it needs to do its job for us, and each has its own privacy policy:

• Google Sheets (through Google Apps Script), where estimate requests and contact taps are recorded
• Pushover, which sends us an instant alert when a request comes in
• Resend, which sends your confirmation email
• Vercel, which hosts the Site
• Google Maps, for the service-area map shown on the Site
• Summit Media, the marketing agency that runs the Site and our advertising on our behalf, and has access to estimate requests and Site analytics

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

8. How Long We Keep It

We keep estimate requests and project records for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep accurate business and accounting records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Section 10).

9. Data Security

The Site uses HTTPS encryption for everything sent between your browser and our servers, and we limit access to estimate records to the people who need it. No method of sending or storing information online is 100% secure. For anything sensitive, call us at (848) 667-0601.

10. Your Choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you. Reach us at:

11. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
